WebRoots Democracy’s 2nd anniversary event

WebRoots Democracy’s 2nd anniversary event will be taking place on Wednesday 25th May 2016 at Google’s Campus London in Shoreditch.

It is entitled: “Back to our WebRoots: How can #onlinevoting reinvigorate democracy?

It will be a speaker event, taking place in the heart of Tech City, exploring the needs and benefits of online voting for UK elections.  A particular focus will be on the recent elections, and the upcoming EU referendum.  There will then be an opportunity to network with others in the political participation and digital democracy field.

Confirmed speakers at the event include BAFTA winner, Jolyon Rubinstein of the BBC’s The Revolution Will Be Televised and Antonia Bance, Head of Campaigns at the Trades Union Congress.
